Practical guide · 5 steps
Read runs and logs
Find the result, the error and the next action.
Before you start
Start with the customer and the order, item or change you want to investigate. Technical operational data is available for seven days, so note relevant references while available.
Step by step
Find the run
Open Runs and find its time and run number. The list shows whether processing started manually, after an update or on a schedule.
Read the summary first
Open the run. Check status, what was processed and what was skipped or failed. A skip can be expected, for example when a data area is disabled.
Find the specific event
Read the technical timeline and expand event details when needed. Logs shows events across runs. Use times and references to follow the same processing.
Follow the next action
Resolve missing access in Customer information or a pending decision in Approvals. For order workflows, open the plan and history to inspect individual document actions.
Check after the correction
Follow the next processing or the continuation offered on the page. Run Shopify + Rackbeat starts a real run; it is not a harmless preview button.
What you should see afterwards
You can identify the affected run, explain what happened and describe what needs resolving.
If you get stuck
- A completed run may include warnings or expected skips. Read the summary instead of relying only on the status colour.
- For an unknown system response, check the existing run and target document before retrying.
