Practical guide · 5 steps
Handle an approval
Review a change, an item match or a customer match.
Before you start
An approval can release a real change or resume processing. Always check the customer and specific record before choosing.
Step by step
Open pending tasks
Go to Approvals and select Pending. Read the explanation and related run or order.
Identify what is missing
Is this a normal change, a missing SKU/item number or a customer match? The form and next action depend on the task type.
Check the choice in the source systems
For an item match, choose the correct existing Rackbeat item or enter a valid SKU. For customer matching, inspect the customer records and addresses. Do not guess from a name alone.
Save the decision
Use the task’s approval, match or rejection action and read any confirmation. Rejecting a task does not change data already transferred.
Follow the result
Read the confirmation and related run or order plan. A normal approval makes the change ready for the flow; some matching tasks also try to resume processing.
What you should see afterwards
Your decision is recorded and you can follow whether processing has completed or needs another step.
If you get stuck
- Task outdated or already handled? Reload the list and use the latest task.
- Cannot select a SKU? Check that the item exists, is not blocked and is readable through the connection.
