Practical guide · 5 steps
Choose data and direction
Understand which system owns each data area.
Before you start
Agree which system owns each data area first. Direction is where data is written; the master is the system whose values should apply.
Step by step
Check the system combination
Check the selected customer and connected systems. A fixed system profile may determine direction and limit editable choices.
Open Data flow
Under Settings → Rackbeat + Shopify, open Data flow. Review areas individually, such as products, customers and inventory.
Read the direction before enabling
Check the source and target for each area. Enable only areas you intend to process. Respect locked fields and explanations for the selected system combination.
Choose fields
Review each area’s field selection. Required identity, amount and status fields cannot be deselected. A field mapping does not replace activation of its data area.
Save and verify
Select Save settings. Follow the next relevant run and check one known record in the target system.
What you should see afterwards
You have a clear source and target for the data areas supported by your setup.
If you get stuck
- Changes made in the target system may be overwritten with source values during the next processing.
- For e-conomic and three-system combinations, follow the agreed profile instead of creating parallel paths for the same data.
